Arkansas commitment Darin Turner of Central announced on Twitter Wednesday that he is reopening his recruitment.

The decision comes after Arkansas fired coach Chad Morris on Sunday. Morris was 4-18.

Turner, a receiver, was the third-highest rated commitment in the Razorbacks' 2020 class behind receiver Traylon Burks and tight end Hudson Henry, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Turner is the No. 6 college football prospect in Tennessee and the No. 195 overall prospect in the nation.

The 6-foot-3, 205 pound receiver decommitted from LSU in March before committing to the Razorbacks in August.

Central, which eliminated Collierville last week, takes on region champ Whitehaven in the second round of the TSSAA Class 6A playoffs Friday night. The Tigers shut out the Warriors in the regular season finale.
