Here’s a look at the top 10 Nashville-area high school boys basketball teams, as ranked by the USA TODAY Sports Network.

1. Mt. Juliet (13-2) – Will Pruitt leads the Bears with 22.1 points and 5.2 assists this season. Last week: No. 1.

2. Ensworth (14-2) – Chaz Lanier scored a team-high 26 points in a double overtime 75-66 win over Lipscomb Academy. Last week: Ranked No. 2.

3. Blackman (10-2) – Ray Tyler (13.2 points a game), Jalen Page (10.0) lead the Blaze into the heart of the District 7-AAA schedule. Last week: Ranked No. 3.

4. Webb (14-1) – Senior J.J. Platt combined for 38 points in wins over district rivals CPA and BGA. Last week: Ranked No. 4.

5. Pearl-Cohn (9-2) – The Firebirds needed overtime to hand East Nashville a 72-71 loss in a key District 10-AA contest. Last week: Ranked No. 9.

6. East Nashville (10-2) – Isaiah Jones (23.8 points) and Jarrod Taylor (23.1) lead the Eagles. Last week: Ranked No. 3.

7. Brentwood (11-4) – John Windley’s 15.4 points and 5.9 rebounds a game lead the Bruins, who remain undefeated in District 11-AAA play. Last week: Not ranked.

8. Hillsboro (10-4) – The Burros lost a one-point game to Hunters Lane on Friday after beating District 12-AAA favorite McGavock 57-52 on Tuesday. Last week: Ranked No. 7.

9. Summit (9-3) – Two-sport athletes Destin Wade and Keaten Wade are beginning to gel with their teammates after missing the start of the season due to the Spartans’ deep football postseason run. Last week: Not ranked.

10. Franklin (12-3) – All three of the Rebels’ losses (Brentwood, East Nashville and Summit) are ranked ahead of them. Last week: Ranked No. 6.
