Huntingdon Fillies Win, Big Sandy Boys Shock Mustangs

HUNTINGDON (January 28) Huntingdon Fillies dominated the much smaller team of Big Sandy, who had eight players on the roster during a Tuesday, January 28 contest. The final score was 82 to 24. However, the nightcap was an unexpected victory for Big Sandy, who won 61 to 54.

Brooke Butler led the Fillies with 21, including 6 three-pointers. Adyn Swenson had 13, including 2 three-pointers, Tyasia Reed had 11, Kamaya Harris had 9, Greenlee Sharp had 8, including a three-pointer, Lia Fuller had 8, including 2 three-pointers, Kaci Fuller had 6, Addison Postlewart with 4, and Brooklyn Williams with 2.

For Big Sandy, Ashlyn Berry had 13, including 1 three-pointer, Avery Mayberry had 4, Lydia Dykes, Lauren Flowers and Kaylee Stockdale with 2, and Kaylyn Jackson had 1.

The Mustangs were led by Brandon Lawton with 16, including two three-pointers, Drake Butler with 12, including a three-pointer, Nik Bynum with 8, including 2 three-pointers, Grant Batholomew with 5, all from the free-throw line, Noah Belew with 4, Kynen Jordan and Ben Taylor with 3 each, and Kylin French with 2.

Big Sandy's scoring was as follows: Garrett Metcalf with 13, Jaylen Christopher with 12, Michael Davis with 9, Brandon Berry and Kameron Peach with 8 each, Seth Green with 6 on 2 three-pointers and Blake Sims with 5.
