Knoxville Catholic quarterback Kaden Martin was offered a scholarship by Tennessee. The son of former Vols quarterback and current UT receivers coach Tee Martin shared the news on Twitter on Tuesday night.

Martin already has an offer to play baseball for the Vols

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Martin is a sophomore at Catholic and would be part of the 2022 signing class.

Martin has offers from Alabama, Southern California, Duke and Kentucky. He also got offers from Ole Miss and West Virginia on Jan. 31.

He transferred from Redondo High School in California and passed for 1,226 yards, 11 touchdowns and also rushed for nine touchdowns for the Irish in 2019.

Tee Martin, a quarterback for the Vols in 1998, led UT to the national championship.

Tee Martin tweeted, "So proud of you son! Thank you!"

Tee Martin's other son, Amari Rodgers, who is a wide receiver at Clemson and also played at Catholic, tweeted, "Yessirrr."
