Fayette Academy hires Fayette-Ware's Michael Hodum as football coach

Fayette Academy has hired Michael Hodum as football coach, the school announced Friday.

"Fayette Academy is proud to announce the hiring of Coach Michael Hodum as the new head varsity football coach," the release read. "Coach Hodum brings 27 years of high school coaching experience, the last 19 as a head coach."

Hodum's most recent stop was at Fayette-Ware where he led the Wildcats to an 8-3 record and a Class 4A playoff appearance. He also spent 10 years in Jackson as coach of Trinity Christian. 

Hodum played football at Middle Tennessee State. He has a master's degree from Memphis.
