Pope John Paul II three-star running back Antwan Roberts commits to Wisconsin

Pope John Paul II's Antwan Roberts, a three-star running back and the state's No. 30 football recruit for the Class of 2021, is headed to Wisconsin.

Roberts, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound athlete, announced his commitment on Tuesday. He also had offers from Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Missouri, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.

Roberts rushed for 1,050 yards in eight games this past season. He scored 15 touchdowns and didn't fumble.

Wisconsin went 10-4 in 2019 and averaged 233.1 yards a game on the ground.
