Knox News Sports Award: Meet all of the high school sports nominees

The fourth annual Knox News Sports Awards presented by Farm Bureau Health Plans will be aired online at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The show is a virtual show due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The show is free to watch on any desktop or smart device on our website: sports.awards.knoxnews.com

The show will be hosted by sports broadcasters Jesse Palmer, Sage Steele, Dr. Jerry Punch and Courtney Cronin. The show will also feature numerous professional sports figures as award presenters, including Patrick Mahomes, Stephen Curry, Michael Phelps, Venus Williams, Wayne Gretzky, Bill Belichick and many more. 

Athletes of the year in each TSSAA fall and winter sport along with hockey and swimming will be named. No spring sport awards will be given because of the seasons being shortened.
