Lausanne announces restrictions for athletic events amid spread of Omicron variant

Lausanne Collegiate School is implementing stricter protocols for attendance at athletics events, amid the rapid spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, the school announced Tuesday. 

Attendance at all athletics events will be limited to coaches, players and families and visiting teams will be issued a limited number of tickets. Masks will be required upon entry to all athletic events. 

"Due to health and safety precautions, athletic events will be limited attendance to coaches, players and families only," the school wrote on Twitter. "Visiting teams will be given an appropriate number of tickets for their fans. All attendees will be required to be masked at all times."
