The Elizabethton High School (EHS) Lady Cyclone soccer team gathered last week for their annual banquet, a night of recognition and celebration of their accomplishments on the field. Coach Lauren Meier took the opportunity to present team awards and acknowledge the outstanding achievements of the players, including the prestigious All-District 1-AA Soccer team.

Coach Meier praised the dedication and skill of her team, highlighting the immense talent that led to the Lady Cyclones’ success during the 2023 season. Notably, the coach emphasized that the All-District 1-AA Soccer team selections were determined through nominations and votes from coaches across the district, a testament to the skill and sportsmanship exhibited by the EHS players.

First Team: Mollie Johnson, SR, F, Izzy Lewis, SO, MF and Bella Morris, SR, D

Second Team: Savannah Smith, JR, D and Liahna Nave, FR, F,  and Camdyn Garland, SO, MF

 

District 1-AA All-Tournament Team: Emma O’Quinn, Izzy Lewis and Camdyn Garland
