Eagles fall to Jackson Christian during homecoming, win versus Huntingdon
In the recent games of the Chester County High School Eaglettes, the girls have been on fire on the courts. The biggest win was the double overtime victory over Huntingdon with a final score of 53-51. This was a huge win that proves their improvement in a matter of a couple weeks after falling to Huntingdon by 30 points on November 18.
Last week they had a 41-30 win over Trinity Christian Academy on Tuesday followed by their homecoming win against Jackson Christian School, 57-31.
The Eagles on the other hand were not able to win all of their games this past week.
They did earn the wins over TCA and Huntingdon, but fell short in their homecoming matchup that went down to the last shot 43-41.
With about a minute left, CCHS Eagle Hunter McLemore tied the scoreboard with a three-pointer at 41. Then, after holding the ball, Huntingdon got fouled and made both free throws.
The Eagles then had multiple attempts under the basket to score but could not get the ball through the net. Some even argued they were fouled under the net, but no fouls were called so that was the end of the game.
Now the Eaglettes sit at 6-2 for the season while the Eagles sit at 7-1 for the season.
