Webb earns baseball scholarship with SLU

Henry County High School baseball player Truitt Webb will be playing on the diamond next spring at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, La. A four-year standout for the Patriots, Webb made the District 14-4A all-district team his first three years. As a senior, he made the Tennessee Rivals top shortstops to watch list, and was ranked in the Perfect Game top 500 players in the nation. Webb cited the great memories and relationships he found during his baseball career. “I have learned not only how to become a better baseball player but a better man,” He said. “I will forever cherish the memories I have made alongside my teammates and coaches. Thank you, Henry County.” He plans to major in sports marketing/business at SLU.
