David Crockett optimistic about second state tournament appearance

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WCYB) — The David Crockett boys hit the road Wednesday morning to Murfreesboro. They are scheduled to open up play in the Class 3-A tournament Thursday evening against Ridgeway.

This will be only the second time that the Pioneers have appeared in the state tournament in school history and are looking for their first win.

After a successful season in Jonesborough, Crockett is hoping to continue their good form.
