CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Bradley Central scored 32 runs in the Joe Adams Memorial-Alzheimer Awareness Classic to claim a pair of victories in three games.
After splitting Thursday evening's opening night with a 13-2 victory over Lincoln County, but an 18-7 loss to McCallie, the Bears (3-6) bounced back for a 12-4 win over Soddy Daisy in Saturday's event finale.
The Trojans defeated McMinn County earlier in the afternoon.
Bradley will play a home-and-home series with McMinn County, Monday at the McKenzie Baseball Complex and Tuesday in Athens, plus go across town to archrival Cleveland Friday.
Soddy Daisy (10-2) will also play a home-and-away series at the first of the week, hosting Hixson Monday and traveling to the Wildcats' home diamond Tuesday.
After Lee University signee Alex Brew scored on a two-out wild pitch in the opening inning, Bradley exploded for five runs in both its second and third at bats.

The first seven Bears reached base in the bottom of the third on a walk, three singles and a pair of "plunks" to send four runs across the plate, plus picked up another score on a ground out.
