After leading Brentwood back to the Glass House for the first time since 2019, head coach Troy Bond has decided to call it a day.

Per Williamson County schools, Bond has decided to retire following three years at the helm. Bond spent the last 23 years as a head coach at Brentwood, Oakland and Wilson County compiling a record of 457-241.

During his coaching tenure, Bond led his teams to four district titles, five region titles, nine sectional matchups and seven trips to the state tournament. He’s been named the BCAT Coach of the year twice (2017, 2019) and also a two-time district coach of the year.

Bond guided Brentwood to a record of 50-37 in his three seasons with the Bruins. This last season they finished the year at 20-13 and finished as district runner-up to eventual state champion Independence.

Originally from Lebanon, Bond played at Tennessee State before taking over at Wilson Central. He led the Wildcats to four state tournament appearances in 14 years before taking over at Oakland in 2016. Bond compiled a record of 113-56 with the Patriots.
