The Baylor boys soccer team hosted Dalton on Tuesday and came away with a 3-2 win. The game was tied 1-1 at the half and was down 2-1 coming back to earn a final minute win.
Baylor's Antonio Basan scored off a long ball from Thomas Vance in the 7th minute to take an early 1-0 lead. Dalton scored off a long shot to tie the game in the 28th minute.
Dalton went up 2-1 in the 70th minute but the Red Raiders answered with a Alberth Valcarcel penalty kick a minute later.
Baylor got a second yellow card (red) and played a man down for the final two minutes.
With 18 seconds left, Antonio Basan (scored) off a Marshall Bible through ball.
"That was a huge win for our team," Baylor head coach Curtis Blair said. "We have so much respect for Dalton Soccer Program and what Coach Cheaves has accomplished at that school. We know we have a ton of soccer left for us, but I was proud of how we responded when we went down. We have a ton of things to fix, but I was really proud of our character and fight."
