The Trousdale County High School baseball team played a couple of games with district foe White House Heritage to start the week, but came up short in both.

At White House Heritage on Monday, the Jackets had twice as many errors as hits in their 7-0 loss to the Patriots. The visitors registered two hits to go along with four errors.

Devan Walford and Ayden Beal had the hits for the visitors.

The following day, the two teams got together in Hartsville, where Coach Davy Cothron’s boys lost 12-2 in five innings. The stat sheet listed two hits and six errors for the Purple and Gold.

Seniors Kobyn Calhoun and Parker Day had the hits for the Trousdale County boys.

With the loss, the Jackets fell to 0-6 in the district and 4-12 overall.

The Jackets are scheduled to travel to Christian Community on Monday, host TN Heat on Tuesday, and go to Macon County on Thursday.
