During the winter before her freshman season, Ellie Proffitt’s schedule was packed with trips to Knoxville for softball workouts.
Those have paid off in a big way lately, with the freshman putting together an impressive run as of late to earn a nomination for the Knoxville News-Sentinel’s Player of the Week.
