The White County Middle School girls’ golf team moved to 9 and 1 on the season with a win over the teams from Overton County and Algood Middle School, at Southern Hills, on April 15. The Warriorettes scored 93 with Lexie Golden being the low scorer for the team at 46. Despite having a golfer get the match low score at 44, Overton County put up an overall score of 105 to take second while Algood came in with a score of 112. The boys’ team scored a 186 in their match, on April 18, which was good enough to beat Overton County’s 214. However, the Warriors were bested by Algood Middle School (179) and Pickett County (180).
