Grading the Tennessee Titans pick of Cedric Gray at No. 106 in 2024 NFL Draft

The Tennessee Titans again added to the defensive side of the ball to open Day 3, selecting North Carolina linebacker Cedric Gray with the No. 106 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Gray is a two-time first-team All-ACC linebacker who fills the box score with tackles, sacks and forcing turnovers. The 6-foot-1, 235-pound linebacker was a four-year college player.

Here's how the Tennessean grades the Titans' fourth-round pick:

The grade:  B-plus

Why? Gray has a track record of production in college, and it's not a one-year thing. In the past three seasons, he has totaled five sacks, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, 8.5 sacks and 30 tackles for a loss. Gray can be a disruptor. He will be an off-ball linebacker who can play downhill and should add some aggressiveness to the Titans' linebacker room. Tennessee needed to add linebacker depth.
