Vote for The Daily Herald's regular season high school softball player of the year in Columbia

It's time to vote for The Daily Herald's high school softball regular season player of the year in the Columbia area.

Vote now for who you think should win based on regular season performances. Here are the candidates, with regular season stats provided by high school coaches.

Anna Brewer, Columbia Academy: The Stanford commitment has seven doubles, five home runs and is batting .531.

MJ Harakas, Columbia Academy: Harakas is batting .463 with 37 hits, four doubles and four triples.

Saviya Morgan, Columbia Central: The Tennessee signee is batting .685 with five doubles, three triples, a home run and 51 stolen bases.

Brylie Waechter, Independence: Waechter has 111 strikeouts in 104.2 innings pitched, with a 3.01 ERA and an opponent batting average of .244.

Aubrey Ezell, Loretto: Ezell is batting .324 with five doubles, two triples, six RBIs and a .378 on-base percentage.

Ava Shrader, Richland: Shrader has 77 strikeouts with a 7-3 record and a 1.69 ERA. She's batting .400 with 10 doubles, a triple and 18 RBIs.

Ashlyn Easley, Summit: Easley is batting .381 with six doubles, three triples and 26 RBIs while going 20 for 22 on stolen bases.

Tarek Scherr, Summit: Scherr has four doubles, a triple and six home runs while batting .343 with 22 RBIs.

Marleigh McWilliams, Zion Christian: McWilliams is batting .519 with seven doubles, two homers and 33 runs. She's also 9-1 pitching with 72 strikeouts and a 1.76 ERA.

Ashleia Coble, Zion Christian: The South Alabama signee is batting .478 with 10 doubles, five triples, six home runs and 34 RBIs. She was 7-1 on the mound with 104 strikeouts in 56.2 innings pitched.
