The Henry County Patriots baseball team will play for the Region 4A championship title on Saturday after downing the Rossview Hawks Friday in Dickson.

Facing them will be the Clarksville Wildcats, who knocked out the Dickson County Cougars 16-1 on Friday night at Dickson County High School.

The Clarksville game will take place at noon at Dickson County High School. If Henry County loses, they would have to play a losers' bracket game.

The Patriots downed the Hawks Friday, 5-3.

A single by Chase Cameron on a full count put the Pats on the board in the top of the first. They added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Carter Hedges doubled, driving in a run. They scored against on an error by the Hawks.

Rossview tied the game with three runs in the bottom of the sixth, only to see the Patriots retake the lead by two runs in the top of the seventh — one after a Brock Archie double and another after a single by Logan Davidson.

Truitt Webb started on the mound for the Patriots, giving up four hits and three runs over six innings, while striking out nine and walking three. Hedges came on as a reliever in the seventh, throwing a scoreless inning in which he allowed zero hits, while striking out one and walking two.
