Warren County
Another shutout for Tullahoma, and another win.
The Wildcats defeated the Warren County Pioneers 8-0 on March 28, marking their seventh shutout win of the year.
The Wildcats had two pitchers on the mound against the Pioneers in five innings of play—Andrew Fulmer and Ben Quick. Quick pitched four of the five innings, and threw six strikeouts while only allowing one hit. Fulmer in his lone inning did not allow a hit and had two strikeouts.
The Wildcat’s offense scored six of their eight in the second inning. JD Schmisseur hit a double to right field to get the scoring started in the second, making the score, 2-0 while Fulmer and Mason Bratcher both belted in some RBIs to get the score to 7-0.
Fulmer had the most RBIs and hits in the game with two in each category.
Rocket City
The Wildcats won against Rocket City on Mar. 29, 11-3.
The Wildcats in their 11-run day had six hits. They put together another big second inning just as they did against Warren County, scoring eight of their 11 runs in the inning. They got five of their six hits of the game in the second, with Bratcher, Baylan Tuten, Trevor Cole, and Xander Pogue all hitting RBIs in the inning.
Northwest
On the same day the Wildcats beat Rocket City they took down Northwest High School, winning 11-1.
On the mound for Tullahoma in this contest was Grayson Waller. He pitched all five innings for the Wildcats and struck out five opposing Vikings while allowing one hit and one run.
The Tullahoma offense in this matchup got 14 hits, with Phillip Lemon, Fulmer, Hunter Hogan, and Tuten combining for nine of them—Lemon with three and Hogan, Tuten, and Fulmer all with two.
Sam Bobo was also back in the lineup for the Wildcats’ baseball team after he finished his run as a starter for the basketball team in their historic state-run. He went one-for-one with a single, and he also had two walks.
Tullahoma continues their dominance over their twelve-game win streak, as they beat these three teams by a combined score of 30-4. Their next game will be on April 1st, where they start a two-game series against Giles County.
