Field hockey
Bayside’s Izzy DeJesus netted the winning goal in a 3-2 overtime win over Tallwood.
Catholic goalie Paige Moody saved a penalty stroke en route to a 5-0 shutout of Walsingham Academy.
Hickory’s Charlotte Petchel scored in overtime to lift the Hawks to a 3-2 victory over Salem.
Norfolk Academy’s Sallie Clarke Roberts and Joji Purdy both recorded hat tricks as the Bulldogs defeated Cape Henry Collegiate to finish unbeaten in the TCIS during the regular season.
Poquoson keeper Samantha Titko recorded her eighth shutout of the season in a 2-0 victory over Menchville.

Boys soccer
Atlantic Shores’ Bryan Marangoni and Liam Davies scored goals to lead the Seahawks to a 2-0 victory over StoneBridge in the Metro Conference Tournament championship game.
Cape Henry’s Graham Campbell was the tournament MVP and helped lead the Dolphins to a 2-1 victory over Walsingham in the TCIS championship game.

Boys volleyball
Great Bridge’s Davian Hugh surpassed 1,000 career digs with 31 in a win over Indian River, and fellow senior Charlie Cooper directed the offense with 32 assists on Senior Night.
Hickory’s Carson Tortone had 22 kills and three aces and Nolan Kennedy added 15 kills and six digs in a 3-1 victory over Grassfield.

Girls volleyball
Norfolk Academy’s Peyton McGee recorded her 1,000th career kill, and finished the match with 15, during a victory over Cape Henry.

Girls tennis
No. 2 Nora Clingenpeel, No. 3 Charlotte Shumadine, No. 4 Leighton Soderberg and No. 6 Haylee Wilson all won their singles brackets at Huntington Park in Newport News to help Norfolk Academy continue its reign in Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools tennis.
In the TCIS doubles competition, the Bulldogs went unbeaten in nine matches. The pairs of Clingenpeel/Andersen Legum, Shumadine/Claudia Tillar and Soderberg/Sabrina Yee won their brackets.
Liza Pridgen of Cape Henry Collegiate was the only 757-area player not on Norfolk Academy’s team to win a bracket in the Tidewater Conference tournament. She beat three opponents in the No, 5 bracket, including a 6-1, 6-4 triumph over Tillar for the championship.
