Izzy Aamodt and Megan Kaul each struck for two goals for Beaver Dam in Tuesday’s 5-1 Little Ten girls soccer victory over Wisconsin Lutheran.
“It was an exciting game for (the girls) and it was nice to see them get that first conference win,” BD coach Rob Nill said.
Aamodt got BD (3-10-1, 1-6 LTC) on the board in the 14th minute when she dribbled through the Vikings’ defense and caromed a shot in off the post.
Kaul doubled the advantage eight minutes later and Danielle Diefenbach made it 3-0 in the 34th minute.
Aamodt collected her second goal of the night when Wisco’s goalkeeper bobbled a shot by Miki Jansen and she put home the rebound.
Wisco opened the scoring early in the second half when Andrea Poppe hauled in a long goal kick and broke through BD’s defense.
